Our AKC dog club brings structure, learning, and community to dog owners who want more than just everyday pet care. We are connecting local dog lovers with training opportunities, events, and a shared passion for responsible dog ownership. Through the standards of the American Kennel Club, clubs help promote better behavior, stronger training, and healthier relationships between dogs and their owners. We want dogs and their owners learning together in a safe environment. The goal is to create a welcoming space where dogs of all breeds and experience levels can learn, grow, and thrive—while bringing the people or Martin and St Lucie county together through shared interest in dogs.

We hold the standard.

Whether you are breed, dog trainer or competing in dog shows; every recognized dog breed has its own written standard. Describing appearance such as coat, size color and proportion. As well as, structure; body shape, bone structure and movement. Temperament is extremely important; typical behavior and personality. Not to mention gait; hoe the dog should move while walking and running. Back by an ethical standard supporting humane treatment of dogs, positive enforcement training methods, responsible breeding practices and fair sportsmanship in all events.
